At Modern Amish, sustainability it a major priority for us, which is why we work with many wood shops that source their lumber domestically from sustainable forests. This means that the trees harvested to provide wood for our furniture is replaced by new trees that can regrow in their place.

This practice is a great start, but we feel that it is still not enough to ensure the safety of our American forests, so we decided to partner with the National Forest Foundation. This amazing organization leads forest conservation efforts and promotes responsible recreation. They believe that these lands, and all they provide, are an American treasure and are vital to the health of our communities.
